Girona is a historical, medieval city with a rich history, impressive heritage and remarkable architectural gems. It’s also one of the settings of the iconic TV show Game of Thrones.

This Game of Thrones guided tour of Girona, will take you directly to the most famous scenarios of the show, as well as some of the most breathtaking monuments of this gorgeous city. Girona was the main scenario of King’s Landing and Braavos, two of the show’s fictional towns.

A professional guide in English and Spanish, will help you explore its historical neighborhoods and monumental buildings.

For 2 hours, you’ll be amazed with the stunning view of the gothic Santa Maria Cathedral from its iconic staircase, as well as the sinuous streets of “The Call”, one of Europe’s best preserved jewish quarters. We’ll also discover the characteristic bright colored houses by Girona’s riverbank.

Before returning to Barcelona, you’ll enjoy some free time to explore one of Catalonia’s most beautiful cities at your own pace. We recommend taking a stroll through the ancient Roman Wall, visiting the Cathedral or the magnificent Arab Baths (not included in the tour).

The town was beautiful, but overall not the best organization for the tour.

I would have loved to be able to spend more time in the town, we spent almost as much time on the bus as we did in the town. We were allowed to break at 11, but almost no restaurants were open for lunch. But overall the town was absolutely stunning!
