Discover the most beautiful and picturesque villages of the Netherlands on this tour that includes bus transfer from Amsterdam and guided tour of Edam, Volendam, Marken and Zaanse Schans.
After meeting your English guide at the appointed place, we will depart to Zaanse Schans, the first stop of the tour. There you can walk among the traditional Dutch windmills, which are still in operation.
The bus continues to Edam, where an English-speaking guide will take you to the famous cheese market. Then you will discover the dock of the fishing port of Volendam and the origin of its fishermen's houses and churches dating back to the 16th century.
Not far from Volendam, you will learn about the production of Gouda and Edam cheeses, after visiting one of the main local cheese producers.
On the island of Marken you will learn about the work of craftsmen in a traditional clog factory, one of the pillars of culture in the Netherlands and one of its most emblematic exports!
