Florence to Siena Day Trip + Pisa and San Gimignano with Lunch and Wine Tasting

Enjoy the must-see places near Florence on this tour to the towns of Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano, three jewels of Tuscany. You will start your journey by private bus from Florence to Pisa, one of the most famous cities in Italy.

In Pisa, you’ll have free time to explore its major monuments, including the medieval walls, the Santa Maria Gate, and the Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the Duomo, the Cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin, the impressive Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery, and of course, the legendary Leaning Tower of Pisa. You’ll have plenty of time to wander and take photos.

Next, we’ll travel through the hills and vineyards of Tuscany, with an initial stop at a traditional estate near San Gimignano. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch and a Chianti wine tasting. Afterward, we’ll head to one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval villages: San Gimignano.

This walled town is famous for its maze of cobblestone streets that lead to charming squares like the well-known Piazza della Cisterna. A must-see is the Duomo di San Gimignano, as well as the streets of Via San Matteo and Via San Giovanni. We’ll continue our journey to Siena, one of Tuscany’s greatest treasures.

In Siena, we’ll meet a English-speaking official guide for a tour of the city’s most important sites, including the stunning Piazza del Campo. You’ll visit the interior of the Siena Cathedral, known for its black and white façade and considered a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture.

After the Siena tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy a coffee, shop for local products, and explore the city. We’ll return to Florence in the late afternoon, where you can admire the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany as the sun sets.
