After meeting your guide, our adventure begins as we head to Nara Park, where over 1,000 sika deer roam freely. These animals, considered messengers of the gods in Shinto tradition, have coexisted with humans for centuries and are one of the park’s most charming attractions.
After spending 1 hour and 45 minutes in Nara, we’ll drive to the vibrant city of Osaka, renowned for its food scene, nightlife, and cultural energy. Our first stop will be the famous Dōtonbori district, a dazzling display of neon lights, animated signs, and infectious energy.
Here you’ll have free time to wander and taste local specialties like takoyaki (octopus balls) and okonomiyaki (a savory Japanese-style pancake), flavors that will delight your palate and complete this cultural experience.
Next, we’ll stroll around the exterior of Osaka Castle, where you’ll have some free time to explore the surroundings of this iconic landmark. With its striking white and gold design, the castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a moat, offering excellent photo opportunities and a chance to connect with Japan’s feudal history.
Our journey then continues to Kobe, a cosmopolitan city known for its historic port, the world-famous Kobe beef, and its lively Chinatown, one of the most important in Japan.
We’ll begin our visit in Kobe Chinatown, where you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at your own pace and explore the colorful streets lined with lanterns, exotic shops, and street food stalls. Don’t miss out on classic bites like dim sum or steamed buns stuffed with meat!
After soaking in the atmosphere and flavors of Chinatown, we’ll head to Kobe Harbor.
You’ll have free time to stroll along one of the city’s most pleasant and photogenic areas. Take in the sea views, the modern skyline, and iconic landmarks like the Kobe Port Tower. It’s the perfect spot to relax with a coffee or snap some stunning sunset photos.
We bid farewell to Kobe after an afternoon full of contrasts, flavors, and scenic views. The tour concludes with our return to Kyoto Station, arriving around 6:05 PM.
