Fly back in time as the tour begins at the National Palace of Sintra, the palace that has served as a home to Portuguese royalty for centuries. It's a stunning blend of architectural styles: Medieval, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance and Romanesque.

After leaving the palace we will explore the picturesque streets of the historic center of Sintra, where you will find stores, cafes and restaurants with local specialties.

Cabo da Roca & panoramic views of Cascais and Estoril

Next, we'll take you to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. It's a breathtaking spot where the land meets the sea, just like the famous Portuguese poet Luís Vaz de Camões described it.

On the way to Lisbon, you will pass through the cosmopolitan village of Cascais and have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno.

• The stop at Cabo de Roca is only available from March 1 to October 31; alternatively, from November 1 to February 28 we will travel along the coast on the national road called Estrada Marginal. 
• In case of strike, we will replace the Pena Palace with Regaleira Estate.
