Our street food journey inevitably begins with pizza and pasta, the undisputed symbols of the city, but the truth is that Neapolitan cuisine goes far beyond that. Traditional dishes that tell stories of ancient recipes and cultural influences await us on this entertaining (and delicious) 2-hour tour with a professional English-speaking guide.

The first place we will visit is one with more than 500 years of history, where Neapolitans gather and shop for everything: the Montesanto market. Located on Via Pignasecca, in the Montesanto neighborhood, this typical and picturesque market promises a unique shopping experience with its mix of low prices and authenticity of products.

After having breathed in the scent of the essence of Naples, we will continue along Via Toledo, the main street of the city. In total we will go to 6 different stops to taste typical Neapolitan products, such as mozzarella cheese, various fried foods, lemon tripe, arancini, crocchè, desserts and coffee or limoncello, while listening to the history of each one from the guide's voice. The best part? We will visit historical sites and we’ll stay away from tourist traps.

One of these stops will be at Fiorenzano, a traditional pizzeria and friggitoria (fried food shop) where you can sample some of the most typical Neapolitan cuisine. Here they serve traditional oven-baked pizzas, fried pizza, paninis and various antipasti.

We will end this free historical and street food tour of Naples with a walk through the Quartieri Spagnoli, in search of an authentic Neapolitan dessert and a must-try espresso coffee. A sweet ending to a unique, enjoyable and enriching experience.

A free tour does not have a set price. You can book for free and at the end of the tour, you can reward the guide with an amount you consider fair according to your degree of satisfaction and the quality received.

However, this experience is a little different. Bear in mind that during the tour we will offer you tastings worth around 7-8 euros per person, in addition to the cost of the guide's services. If possible, an adequate contribution to cover these costs would be appreciated.
