Itinerary
After meeting your guide in the heart of Manhattan, you will head north at once, until you reach the Harlem neighborhood.
Here you will visit historic sites such as the Apollo Theater, which has been the stage for artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and The Jackson 5. You will walk through jazz-filled streets and learn more about African-American culture in New York.
Then, you will continue to the famous Bronx, the birthplace of rap and hip hop and the place where more than 70 languages are spoken - incredible! You will walk through its streets, full of art and important murals such as the one of Big Pun, a well-known Bronx rapper.
Next, you'll get a close look at the Whitestone Bridge - which connects to Queens - as well as the stadium of the New York Yankees, one of the most famous baseball teams in the world.
After almost two hours in the area, you will continue on to the borough of Queens, one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the United States (residents speak over 100 languages!) and also one of the boroughs that hosts major sporting events.
In addition to passing through the exclusive Malba neighborhood, you can visit Flushing Meadows Park, home of the U.S. Open Tennis Championships and the New York Mets baseball team. In Queens you will also see the Kosciuszko Bridge -built in 1939- which connects directly to Brooklyn, the next stop on the tour.
Once you're in Brooklyn, you'll understand why it's known as the hipster capital of the world. You'll tour the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Crown Heights, home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities outside of Israel.
You'll get a close-up view of the Williamsburg Bridge and the most sought-after landmark of all: the famous Brooklyn Bridge, from where you'll have beautiful panoramic views of the city. From there you will get to know the essence of Dumbo, a small neighborhood right at the foot of the bridge that will surprise you with its industrial aspect.
Then, you will enjoy Coney Island, one of the most unique neighborhoods in the borough of Brooklyn. You'll feel like you've been transported back to the early 20th century, a wooden boardwalk, roller coasters, carousels, and lots of cotton candy! You'll have free time to wander around at your leisure.
Finally, you will return to Manhattan across the East River and over the historic Brooklyn Bridge, a complete and unforgettable experience!
