Best of Porto Full Day Tour with Wine Cellar, Cruise and Lunch

Get ready to discover the sights, the history and the tastes of Porto with this full day tour that invites you to explore the best of Porto’s historical center.

Porto Historical Center

The tour will kick off with a delightful walking exploration of Porto's historic center. We’ll begin at Avenida dos Aliados, taking in the stunning architecture that surrounds us. Our journey will then lead us to São Bento Train Station, where our guide will enlighten us about the station's history and its remarkable tile panels that showcase important moments from Portuguese culture and history. 

From there, we’ll stroll up to Porto Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest landmarks. After soaking in the views from the cathedral, we’ll make our way to the Fernandina Wall, which provides breathtaking vistas of the city. Our next stop will be Batalha Square, where we’ll hop onto our comfortable coach. 

Wine Cellar visit and tasting - Lunch

The tour will then take us to Vila Nova de Gaia, where we’ll explore a Port wine cellar. Here, we’ll learn about the Port wine production process and enjoy a tasting of three distinct wines.

Following this, we’ll visit a traditional restaurant for lunch, featuring local specialties like "francesinha" or codfish, paired with wine or water. 

Six Bridges Cruise and Modern Porto

After our meal, we’ll board a rabelo boat for a scenic sail along the Douro River, taking in the beautiful bridges that connect Porto and Gaia. Once back on land, we’ll travel by coach to Foz do Douro, one of the city’s most picturesque neighborhoods along the river, where you’ll have some free time to admire the views of the Atlantic coast and Castelo do Queijo. 

We’ll continue our journey through the Boavista area, passing by the iconic Casa da Música and Serralves Park. Finally, we’ll conclude our full-day adventure back in Porto’s city center, right where we started our morning.
