Best of Porto Half Day Tour

Prepare to experience the highlights and most important sights of the wonderful city of Porto. Get to know its rich history in the comfort of an air conditioned minibus and the company of an English speaking professional guide. 

After checking in at Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, opposite São Bento Railway Station, our tour will kick off with a delightful stroll through the historic center on foot.

We’ll begin at Avenida dos Aliados, taking in the stunning architecture of the surrounding buildings. From this spot, you’ll catch a glimpse of the impressive Clérigos Tower. As we make our way, we’ll also pass by the McDonald's, renowned for being one of the most beautiful in the world.

Our next stop will be São Bento Train Station, where our guide will share fascinating insights about the station and its remarkable tilework, which showcases important scenes from Portuguese culture and history. 

After that, we’ll head to the Porto Cathedral (Sé), one of the city’s oldest monuments. We’ll take a moment to enjoy the views and learn about its rich history, although we’ll only be viewing it from the outside. 

From the cathedral, we’ll continue to the Fernandina Wall, which provides stunning vistas of the city. Our journey will then lead us to Batalha Square, where we’ll hop onto our comfortable coach.

The tour will then take us to Vila Nova de Gaia, where we’ll explore a Port wine cellar. Here, you’ll discover the wine-making process and have the chance to taste three different Port wines.

We’ll wrap up our half-day adventure back in Porto’s city center, returning to the same spot where we started our journey in the morning.
