Poças Guided Tour with tasting of 2 Port Wines and Pastel de nata

Poças is an emblematic winery in Porto. This family business, with more than 100 years of history, has three quintas in the best locations in the Douro Demarcated Region.

Visit to the Poças de Oporto winery (Vila Nova de Gaia)

During the guided tour you will experience the atmosphere of one of the best wineries in Porto, as well as discover all the details about the production of this wine and its peculiar characteristics. You will also learn the right way to taste this unique wine that is not produced anywhere else in the world.

In the first part of the tour, an English-speaking guide will take you to the cellar where the wines have been aged for more than 100 years, while you learn about the qualities and why Port wine is so special. You will also learn all about the Douro Valley region.

At the end of the guided tour, you will move on to the tasting room, where a tasting of two different Port wines awaits you. During the tasting you will learn which food goes best with Port wine and you will discover some surprising types of wine.

You will taste some of the most emblematic Poças wines such as Poças White and Poças Reserva Tawny. The tasting also includes the tasting of a traditional Pastel de Nata (portuguese cream cake).
