Itinerary

Come with us to explore the enchanting Santa Cruz neighborhood, the heart of Seville’s Jewish Quarter. As we stroll through its winding alleys and peaceful courtyards, you'll feel the spirit of southern Spain. Our guide will share fascinating stories, legends, and the characters who helped shape this historic area.

We’ll begin our tour at the Plaza del Triunfo, the meeting point, and then make our way through some of the most iconic squares in the Jewish quarter.

This lively square, located between the Reales Alcázares and Seville Cathedral, is full of life. Expect street musicians, watercolor artists, and classic horse-drawn carriages all around.

Next, we’ll visit Plaza de la Alianza, a lovely square with cobblestone streets, a central fountain, and beautifully tiled houses. We’ll then head to Plaza de Doña Elvira, a charming spot full of history and beauty.

The Plaza de la Alianza, surrounded by traditional Sevillian architecture, dates back to the early 20th century and is the perfect place to relax and grab a snack.

From there, we’ll walk down Susona Street, which has a fascinating story we’ll share with you along the way. We’ll then visit the impressive 16th-century Hospital de Los Venerables, once a home for elderly priests, and now a cultural center hosting art exhibitions and classical concerts.

We’ll continue to Calle Lope de Rueda (formerly Calle de Barrabás), where we’ll stop by the Casa de Murillo, the former home of the famous painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. Along the way, we’ll pass by the lovely Balcón de Rosina, an iconic spot in Beaumarchais' opera The Barber of Seville.

Of course, no tour through this historic neighborhood would be complete without a walk down Callejón del Agua, a path with deep Sephardic roots, and a stop at the Carmen Opera.

We’ll finish our tour at the magnificent Patio de Banderas, within the Alcázar of Seville.

After the tour, feel free to ask questions! We’re happy to give you tips about other must-see places in Seville, recommend great spots to eat, and share more local secrets.
