Itinerary
Estoril and Cascais
After meeting your guide, we will start the tour heading towards Estoril. There you will enjoy the panoramic views of the Estoril Casino, Europe’s largest and the inspiration behind Casino Royale.
Next we’ll head to Cascais where you will enjoy a guided tour of this former humble fishing village, which became a retreat for Lisbon’s aristocracy and is now one of the most beautiful coastal towns around.
Cabo da Roca and Atlantic coast scenic drive
Next, we’ll pass through Boca do Inferno, where you'll witness the fabulous the Atlantic coast views while passing by the famous Guincho Beach. You’ll witness an impressive formation of arches and cliffs shaped throughout centuries.
Then we will continue to the westernmost point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic and feel the power of nature of this iconic location.
Sintra and free time
The tour continues to the picturesque town of Sintra. Here you will have free time to discover the historic center, have lunch and explore the narrow streets, visit the local shops and enjoy the famous queijadas (the typical sweets of Sintra).
Entrance to the Pena Palace
The tour will end on a high note: with a guided visit to the beautiful Pena Palace, residence of the Portuguese royal family in the 19th century. It is the most complete example of Romanesque architecture in Portugal and is located at the top of the Sintra mountain.
In addition to accessing the Pena Palace (entrance is included), you can walk around the surrounding park, which extends over 200 hectares of nature with gardens, ponds, bridges and fountains.
Finally, the tour returns to Lisbon, with the drop-off at Praça Martim Moniz.
If you prefer, you also have the option to take the half day tour to Sintra in the afternoon.

- We kindly advise you to use comfortable clothes and shoes and come prepared for some walking.
- The visit to the Roca Cape is only available from 1st March to 31st October only. Alternatively, from 1st November to 28th February, we will travel along the Coast.
- The itinerary may be subject to changes without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.
- The guided tour inside the Palácio da Pena is limited to a certain number of participants. In case the group has a high number of participants, the visit inside the Palace is carried out freely.
