Itinerary

We begin our tour by the river at the Tokyo Cruise Ship Asakusa Office, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of both modern and traditional Tokyo. From here, we head to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks: the imposing Kaminarimon Gate, with its giant red lantern marking the entrance to the Asakusa district.

Passing through it, we’ll dive into the atmosphere of Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest temple, rich in history, spirituality, and local energy. We'll also pass through the majestic Hozomon Gate and discover the Asakusa Shrine, a peaceful corner that preserves the religious essence of traditional Japan.

After immersing ourselves in the spiritual heart of Tokyo, it’s time to shift the vibe and explore the fascinating world of Japanese cuisine on the famous Kappabashi Street, also known as Kitchen Town. We’ll enter through its quirky gateway, marked by a cheerful statue of a kappa, a mythical creature from Japanese folklore.

Along the street, you’ll discover the art of realistic plastic food replicas, a curious Japanese tradition seen in many restaurant displays. We’ll also visit some of the best Japanese knife shops, showcasing the outstanding craftsmanship of these highly prized culinary tools.

The walk continues with a stop at charming tea and porcelain shops, where you can admire delicate pieces perfect to take home as authentic souvenirs from Tokyo. This stroll through Kappabashi is a treat for chefs and curious travelers alike—a unique opportunity to experience the everyday and creative side of Japanese culture.
