Itinerary
We begin our walk next to the statue of Kusunoki Masashige, a legendary samurai known for his loyalty and honor. From there, we’ll head to Sakurada-mon Gate, one of the historic entrances to the former Edo Castle, a site rich with key moments in Japan's samurai past.
Nearby is the Nijubashi Bridge, one of the most photographed landmarks in the country. From here, you'll get memorable views of the Imperial Palace, the official residence of Japan’s Imperial Family. We’ll then stroll through the Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace, a peaceful oasis where nature and imperial history meet in perfect harmony.
Next, we’ll head to Yurakucho Yokocho, a lively alley lined with traditional izakayas—perfect for discovering how Tokyoites relax with food and drinks after work.
We’ll continue to the stylish Ginza district, known for its luxury boutiques, elegant shopping centers, and cutting-edge architecture. From there, we’ll visit the unique Tsukiji Hongwan-ji Temple, a Buddhist temple with a striking facade inspired by South Asian architectural styles.
The tour continues to the outer Tsukiji Market, a culinary paradise for food lovers. We'll wander through stalls of fresh seafood, street food, and kitchen tools while soaking in the market’s energetic atmosphere.
Finally, we’ll visit the small but meaningful Namiyoke Shrine, historically revered by local market workers and sailors as a guardian of maritime safety.
