Itinerary
After meeting your assistant, you'll board a boat to cruise the Venice lagoon. You'll pass landmarks such as San Giorgio Maggiore and the Lido en route to Venice's most notable islands: Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
The first stop is Murano, celebrated for its handmade glass factories. You'll learn about the glassblowing process and can purchase a souvenir.
You'll also have free time to explore the island, including the Basilica of Santa Maria and Donato, one of the oldest churches in the Venetian lagoons, built in the 7th century. The Murano visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Next, you'll continue to Burano, where you'll spend about 1.5 hours. Burano is one of the Venetian Lagoon's most charming islands, known for its colorful facades, small canals, handmade lace production, and the leaning bell tower of its only church.
The island's vibrant colors originated from fishermen painting their houses in bright hues for easier identification when returning from the sea.
Finally, you'll visit Torcello, the oldest and least inhabited island in the Venetian lagoon. It's the perfect escape from the Venetian crowds, featuring two prominent religious monuments: the Cathedral of Santa Maria dell'Assunta (founded in 639) and the Church of Santa Fosca. After 1 hour in Torcello, you'll return to the boat and back to the starting point.
