After meeting your guide, who's very passionate about telling interesting yet funny stories of Ghent, we will start by walking across St. Michael's Bridge, one of the spots that offers the best panoramic views of the city.

We'll then delve into the heart of Ghent, exploring the historic St. Nicholas' Church, a magnificent Gothic masterpiece founded in the 13th century. Next, we'll walk along the charming Graslei and Korenlei quaysides, admiring the picturesque guild houses lining the river Lis.

These guild houses are where the guilds of grain, masons, shipping companies and even an old brothel that stands on the site of a well-known fashionable hotel.

Our tour continues to the awe-inspiring St. Bavo's Cathedral, home to renowned artworks by masters like Rubens and Van Eyck as well as the towering Ghent Belfry, who offers amazing panoramic views of the city.

We'll then explore the historic Town Hall, a stunning example of Gothic architecture, and the imposing Gravensteen Castle, a medieval fortress steeped in history.
