Our first stop takes you to the dramatic cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. You'll have time to take photos and soak in the panoramic views.

Guided Visit: Quinta da Regaleira

Next, we head into Sintra to explore the mysterious and eccentric Quinta da Regaleira. Built in the early 20th century by wealthy businessman António Carvalho Monteiro, this palace is a masterpiece of symbolism and imagination.

With your guide, you'll wander through lush gardens, descend into secret tunnels, and uncover curiosities like the Initiation Well, a spiral staircase used for esoteric rituals by a secret order.

Lunch & Free Time

After the visit, enjoy free time to have lunch at your leisure. Your guide will recommend local favorites so you can savor Sintra’s culinary delights. Then, take a stroll through the town’s historic streets and monuments.

At the scheduled time, you’ll regroup with your guide to visit the iconic Pena Palace, a crown jewel of European Romanticism perched high in the Sintra mountains.

This colorful palace offers panoramic views over the entire region and enchants with its lush gardens. The visit takes place in the courtyards and gardens of the Palace. (Entry to the interior of the palaces is not contemplated in the visit). Your guide will share the fascinating history of this monument, revealing fun facts about Portuguese royalty and the construction of this 19th-century masterpiece.

Return to Lisbon

After a day filled with wonder, the excursion concludes with a comfortable ride back to Lisbon, ending at Praça Martim Moniz.
