During this 90 minute free tour, a local Parisian will reveal numerous hidden treasures that are not featured on tourist maps. Right after meeting your guide outside the Louvre glass pyramid, you’ll start discovering Parisian anecdotes and jewels hidden in plain sight.
At the base of the horse statue in honor of the Sun King you’ll know: Why was the Louis XIV King statue positioned in this exact spot? Shortly after, you will catch a glimpse of the Sun-King's sculpture collection. Just around the bend, the guide will show you the luxurious café that becomes bustling with locals once the museum shuts its doors for the night.
Next we head towards the "Palais Royal". Today it’s a hub for luxury brands but did you know it was a former underground gambling den run by the King's cousin? It’s hard to believe that it was once a hub of the French revolution, where radical meetings took place.
